NOT ALL DROOLS MEAN RABIES!
Let’s first understand what is drooling. Drool or as it is known in the medical field, ptyalism, is an excessive flow of saliva that has accumulated in the mouth or oral cavity. It could be mouth ulcers or caused by facial skin folds. (The natural folds of excess skin on some dog breeds may cause irritation that result in drooling or occasional mouth ulcers)
It could be anxiety.
Unfamiliar territory.
A drive.
An unwelcome visitor.
Unfamiliar form of play.
Fatigue.
Food temptations.
Fear
An object causing obstruction in the throat.
Just another big breed drooling! Before jumping the guns, observe the dog, then consult a professional.
